The Lokzon platform and website (lokzon.com) are services provided by Anex Intelligence. Throughout the site, the terms "We," "Us," and "Our" refer to Lokzon. By accessing our website or subscribing to our services, you engage in our "Service" and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions ("Terms of Service", "Terms").
Please read these Terms carefully before using our platform. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this agreement, then you may not access the website or use any services.
1. General Conditions
- Authorization: You may not use our products for any illegal or unauthorized purpose, nor may you violate any laws in your jurisdiction.
- Service Termination: We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time. Any breach or violation of any of the Terms will result in an immediate termination of your Services.
- Platform Role: Lokzon serves as a communication and technical platform. Any contract for the sale of products is a strictly bilateral agreement between the Merchant and the Buyer. We are not responsible for unsatisfactory service, non-performance, or damages arising from transactions between Merchants and Buyers.
2. Prohibited Products, Legal Compliance, And Store Suspension
Lokzon operates strictly as an intermediary e-commerce software provider (SaaS). We do not manufacture, inspect, store, endorse, or verify the goods and services sold by independent merchants through their storefronts. Merchants are solely and individually responsible for all commercial activities conducted on their stores.
- Compliance with Bangladeshi Law: Merchants must strictly adhere to all applicable laws and statutory regulations of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. This includes, without limitation, the Digital Commerce Operation Guidelines 2021, the Consumer Rights Protection Act 2009, the Cyber Security Act 2023, the Narcotics Control Act 2018, the Penal Code 1860, and all applicable import, trade, and taxation directives.
- Strictly Prohibited Goods and Services: Selling, listing, or promoting any of the following on a Lokzon storefront is strictly forbidden:
- Narcotics, psychotropic substances, illegal drugs, and unauthorized or prescription-only pharmaceutical products.
- Firearms, ammunition, military gear, explosives, fireworks, and dangerous weapons.
- Counterfeit, pirated, or unauthorized replica branded goods that infringe on third-party intellectual property, trademarks, or copyrights.
- Pornographic, obscene, or adult-themed materials, as well as products promoting hate speech, violence, or unlawful discrimination.
- Unauthorized financial schemes, multi-level marketing (MLM), forex trading services, cryptocurrency schemes, gambling, lottery, or fraudulent investment offers.
- Stolen property, unauthorized access credentials, hacking tools, or leaked personal data.
- Any item, service, or substance whose online sale, import, or distribution is banned by the Government of Bangladesh or any competent regulatory authority.
- Intermediary Liability Disclaimer: Lokzon and Anex Intelligence expressly disclaim all civil, criminal, and regulatory liability arising from products sold, described, or dispatched by merchants. The merchant agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Lokzon, its parent entity Anex Intelligence, and its officers from any claims, losses, damages, penalties, fines, or legal expenses incurred due to the merchant's listing of illegal, restricted, or counterfeit goods.
- Store Suspension and Permanent Ban: If Lokzon detects, is alerted to, or reasonably suspects that a merchant is selling prohibited or fraudulent goods, Lokzon reserves the absolute right to immediately take down the storefront, freeze dashboard access, and permanently ban the merchant account without prior warning. In such cases, all remaining subscription fees are strictly forfeited.
- Legal Notices and Law Enforcement Cooperation: Upon receipt of any court order, formal complaint, legal notice, or inquiry from law enforcement agencies or regulatory bodies in Bangladesh (including but not limited to Bangladesh Police, CID, DB Police, BTRC, the Directorate of National Consumer Rights Protection, or tax authorities), Lokzon will promptly act to remove or restrict the offending storefront and will fully cooperate with lawful investigations, including sharing required merchant records as permitted or required by law.
3. Subscription And Fees
- Prepaid Plans: Lokzon subscriptions are prepaid for a fixed term (for example monthly or yearly, as offered on the platform). The current price of every plan and billing term is always displayed inside the platform before you pay. We reserve the right to modify subscription fees with prior notice; a term you have already paid for is always honoured at the price you paid.
- No Automatic Deductions: Lokzon does not operate auto-renewal or recurring billing. We never deduct money from your bKash, card, or bank account automatically. Every payment is a manual payment that you initiate and confirm through the payment gateway.
- Early Renewal: You may renew your current plan at any time, including before it expires. When you renew the same plan on the same billing term, the new term is added to the end of the period you have already paid for — no paid days are ever lost by renewing early.
- Changing Plans: Switching to a different plan, or to a different billing term of the same plan, takes effect immediately. The new plan starts on the day of payment and replaces your previous plan. Any unused days remaining on the previous plan are forfeited — they are not converted into credit, extra days, or a refund. The exact start date, end date, and any days being given up are shown on the checkout screen before you confirm payment.
- Expiry And Suspension: When your paid term ends without renewal, a short grace period applies. After it, your dashboard is restricted and your storefront is taken offline until a new payment is made. Your store data (products, orders, settings) is retained in line with our Privacy Policy so you can resume where you left off.
- Advance Purchase Limit: Plans can be prepaid up to a maximum of 36 months into the future.
- One-Time Costs: Users are responsible for any initial one-time charges, such as third-party payment gateway setup fees or custom domain purchases.
- Refunds: Except as required by law, subscription payments are non-refundable once a term is activated. See our Return and Refund Policy for details, including how duplicate charges are handled.
4. Domain And Hosting Strategy
- Sub-domains: Users may utilize a Lokzon-provided sub-domain (e.g., yourstore.lokzon.com) to launch their store instantly.
- Custom Domains: Merchants have the right to connect their own custom domains to the platform. Lokzon is not liable for technical issues or downtime resulting from incorrect third-party domain configurations.
5. Delivery And Logistics
- Integration: Lokzon provides technical integration with delivery partners including RedX, Pathao, and Steadfast.
- Liability: We are not liable for any issues occurring at the delivery end, including but not limited to delays, product damage, or loss of parcels by the courier service. Merchants must address delivery disputes directly with the chosen logistics partner.
6. Order And Inventory Management
- Automation: The platform facilitates order automation, allowing customers to place orders directly on the Merchant's website.
- Merchant Responsibility: Merchants are solely responsible for maintaining accurate product listings, descriptions, and inventory levels. If a product description is deceptive or inaccurate, the Merchant is responsible for reimbursing the Buyer.
- Alerts: Lokzon provides automated inventory alerts to notify Merchants when stock is low.
7. Account Security
- Confidentiality: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login information, including usernames and passwords.
- Unauthorized Use: You must immediately notify Lokzon of any unauthorized use of your account. We are not liable for losses resulting from a breach of your account security.
8. Connected Messaging Channels
Lokzon Live Chat lets you connect a Facebook Page, WhatsApp Business Account, or Instagram professional account so you can answer customers and create orders from one inbox. Connecting a channel is optional, and these terms apply only if you do.
- Your accounts, your control: the Page or WhatsApp Business Account remains yours. You grant Lokzon access to receive and reply to messages on your behalf, and you may withdraw that access at any time from Lokzon or from Meta's own settings.
- You remain responsible for what you send: you are the sender of every message. You must comply with Meta's platform and commerce policies, and with applicable law on unsolicited messaging. Lokzon provides the tools; it does not review the content you send.
- Conversation data: messages exchanged with your customers belong to you. Lokzon stores and processes them on your behalf so your team can read, answer, and create orders from them. Retention may be limited by your plan or by platform-wide limits we publish in advance.
- Messaging charges: Meta charges for certain WhatsApp messages, most notably messages you initiate outside the 24-hour customer service window. Unless we state otherwise in writing, those charges are billed by Meta to the account that owns the WhatsApp Business Account, not by Lokzon.
- Suspension: we may suspend or disconnect a channel without notice if Meta requires it, if a channel's access is revoked, or if continued use would put the platform or other merchants at risk. We will tell you when this happens and why, where we are permitted to.
- Availability: message delivery depends on Meta's systems, which are outside our control. We are not liable for messages delayed, rejected, or not delivered by Meta, nor for restrictions Meta places on your account.
- Disconnection: disconnecting a channel stops further message delivery and erases the stored access credentials. Past conversations are retained so your order and dispute history stays intact; you may request their deletion.
9. Analytics And Data
- Reporting: Lokzon provides merchants with one-click access to sales reports, profit/loss statements, and customer data.
- Insights: Our advanced analytics help identify top-performing products and repeat customers to help grow your business.
10. Updates And Modifications
We reserve the right to update, change, or replace any part of these Terms and Conditions by posting updates to our website. It is your responsibility to check our website periodically for changes. Your continued use of the platform following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
