1. Our Commitment To Your Privacy
Welcome to Lokzon (lokzon.com), a product of Anex Intelligence. This document explains how we collect, safeguard, and utilize information for both our Merchants and their end-customers. By accessing the Lokzon dashboard or setting up your shop, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
2. Data We Collect
To help you launch a store in minutes, we require specific data points:
- Account Information: Your name, business name, and contact details provided during signup.
- Transactional Data: Order details, customer delivery addresses, and payment statuses processed through your website.
- Inventory & Content: Product images, descriptions, and stock levels you upload to our servers.
- Financial Records: Information necessary to generate your sales reports and profit/loss statements.
3. Operational Usage Of Information
We use the gathered data to provide a functional "E-commerce OS":
- Order Fulfillment: Sharing buyer information with our integrated delivery partners (RedX, Pathao, or Steadfast) to generate parcels.
- Business Insights: Analyzing traffic sources and conversion rates to help you scale your sales.
- Automated Alerts: Sending you notifications when your inventory is low or when a new order is placed.
4. Digital Footprints & Tracking
We use Cookies and similar tracking technologies to keep you logged in and to monitor site performance. We also collect Log Data (such as IP addresses and browser versions) to troubleshoot technical errors and improve the platform's speed.
5. Third-Party Collaboration
Lokzon integrates with several external services to provide a complete solution:
- Payment Gateways: We facilitate secure transactions through partners like EPS or Bkash.
- Logistics: We transmit delivery data to courier services to ensure your products reach your customers.
- Custom Domains: If you connect a personal domain, we interact with third-party DNS providers to point your URL to our servers.
6. Messaging Channels & Live Chat
If a Merchant connects a Facebook Page, WhatsApp Business Account, or Instagram professional account to Lokzon Live Chat, we receive and store the messages exchanged between that Merchant and their customers. This section explains exactly what that involves.
In this context Lokzon acts on the Merchant's behalf. The Merchant decides which channels to connect, what is sent, and for how long the conversation is kept.
- What we receive from Meta: message content (text, images, voice notes, documents and shared locations), the sender's display name and profile picture, and — for WhatsApp only — the sender's phone number. Facebook and Instagram provide an anonymous per-Page identifier rather than a phone number or email address.
- Why we store it: so the Merchant's team can read and answer customer enquiries from the Lokzon dashboard, create orders from a conversation, and send order updates back to the customer.
- Attachments: photos, voice notes and documents sent by a customer are copied to Lokzon's own storage. This is necessary because the links Meta provides expire within minutes, which would otherwise leave the Merchant unable to see what their customer sent.
- Access credentials: the access tokens that let Lokzon send and receive on a Merchant's behalf are encrypted before they are stored, and are erased immediately when a channel is disconnected.
- What we do NOT do: we do not use the contents of customer conversations to train models, to advertise, or for any purpose other than operating Live Chat for that Merchant. We do not share one Merchant's conversations with another Merchant, and delivery history used to indicate a customer's reliability is calculated only from that same Merchant's own orders.
- Linking to a store account: a chat contact is never automatically merged into an existing customer account. Linking the two is an explicit action taken by the Merchant's team and is recorded in their audit log.
Retention of chat messages and attachments is configurable by Lokzon and may be limited by the Merchant's plan. Disconnecting a channel stops all further message delivery and erases the stored credentials, but does not by itself delete past conversations — the Merchant may need them for order and dispute history.
If you are a customer of a Lokzon Merchant and want your messages deleted, contact the Merchant you messaged: they control that data and can remove it. You may also contact us at the address in this policy and we will route your request to the correct Merchant. You can additionally revoke Lokzon's access at any time from your own Facebook or WhatsApp settings, which stops any further messages reaching us.
7. Data Retention & Your Rights
We store your data for as long as your subscription (e.g., the ৳399/month plan) is active. You may request to delete your account and associated data at any time. However, we may retain certain information to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.
8. Safeguarding Your Information
We utilize industry-standard encryption and security protocols to protect your business data. While we strive for maximum security, please remember that no digital storage method is 100% impenetrable.
9. Policy Adjustments
Lokzon reserves the right to modify this statement at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated version on our platform. Continued use of the service after such changes implies your consent.
Empowering your brand with Lokzon.
